CAT-CAD 01.02 by popoff CAT-CAD 01.02 by popoff
... some screen shots from Rhinoceros 3 ... wait anime gif to download completely ...

:bulletgreen: the concept

about the 3ds file format export from Rhinoceros

:bulletgreen: 3DBG.com
:bulletgreen: 3Dcenter.ru

Just like Old School 3D workers from 3D Bulgaria advice me I start to convert to mesh every polysurface separately without using of Okino`s Polytrance or Power Translator ...
... slow method but hope that final result`ll be cool ... without more or insufficient polygons for different type polysurfaces .

P.S.: Toshiba laptop + 3D = problems

:tears:

Try Moment of Inspiration for conversion. Not much to the program but it opens rhino files and when you export out as an OBJ you can choose between Ngons, Tri-angles or Ngons and Tri-angles. It works pretty good.

I`ve already tried MOI - I cannot open the whole model , but layer by layer things works OK ...
This model is meshed using MOI .

wow, that's very detailed, jsut curios how much people actually bought this?

I was thinking of making furniture and such to sell on turbo squid, but kinda never got around to it as i couldn't see any stats.

I dig the nurbs modeling in rhino, but I think you should try poly to create hard surface :) There will be no problems with exporting to max ;)
